This is not hard news to believe with gas prices still up and commuter cars giving false EPA ratings. I am a reader of the Car & Driver magazine and I always read the EPA (Estimates) and what there study actually gets. With some cars saying they get 42MPG and then after being tested only get 33 that's a huge difference and can be a big decision on buying a car for commuting. As jobs continue to either be lost or slow people cannot buy new vehicles, that's why the housing market as well hasn't picked up not to many people have money to just go buy non necessity items like a new car when there old one runs great.
